3 Advantages of a CNC Router

An Update to our Millwork Shop.

We’re always looking for new ways to create a more valuable partnership with our customers. We know how busy you are in growing your business and how important serving your customers and employees is to you. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to our millwork shop–a CNC router.

To accommodate our wide range of customers we chose the Biesse Rover B model, a diverse model that’s able to complete nearly any job no matter how simple or complicated, small or large. And one of the best parts–it is a 4-axis machine–able to cut the top, bottom, front, back, and both sides of the material, leaving no side untouched. If you’re interested in learning more about the model specs and capacities, check out this link.

Why use a CNC machine? Well, here’s 3 advantages:

1. Save time and money

A CNC router is able to make precise, efficient cuts and products in sometimes a fraction of the time it would take a contractor to make by hand. Because the machine is automated, the process can save you both time and money.

We’re able to offer our router as a service to any of our customers. Whether you’re a homeowner, a one or two person shop, or a larger remodeler and developer, this CNC router might be able to provide you significant efficiencies on your jobs.

2. Trusted Precision

Because the router is controlled by computer software, the bit receives precise instructions to ensure the same cut, every time. From historical restoration pieces to custom brackets and corbels to small built-ins, this router will create a precise and trustworthy product so you can spend your time and effort on other aspects of the job.

3. Consistent Repeatability

A CNC router is able to route the same exact thing over and over again, and like we just mentioned, with trusted precision, every time. So no matter if you’re looking to create just two exact feature pieces to complete your project, or finding a time efficient way to mill window trim for an entire home, the CNC router might be your answer.

Bring us a sketch, picture, or even a scribble on a napkin, and we’ll work with you to get your piece made in no time.

For local crews and carpenters, consider our CNC router and our millwork shop to be a trusted sub for your next job. Ask for a tour of the shop the next time you’re at the yard. We hope to be a part of your next project.
